Hi there Ivan,Not sure what version of Office/Word you are using, but, try.For Office/Word 2003:There are other settings in Word that can affect the visibility of graphics in a document. If you cannot see a drawing that you believe should be visible, you may want to check these: Go to the TOOLS menu and choose OPTIONS. Word displays the Options dialogue box. Click on the VIEW tab, on the various tabs at the top. Note the DRAWINGS check box. This check box controls whether drawings are displayed, or not, when using Print Layout and Web Layout views; set it according to your desires.
This option may need to be selected/checked. Also, note the PICTURE PLACEHOLDERS check box.
This check box controls whether Word displays any drawings, regardless of the layer on which they reside. If selected, then Word shows a 'placeholder' for the graphic, but not the graphic itself.
On the Insert tab, click the Header button or the Footer button and then choose Edit Header or Edit Footer from the menu that appears. The Header & Footer Tools Design tab appears on the Ribbon. Position the insertion point where you want the header or footer text to appear.
Using StoryRanges (as per the link) with Find/Replace in headers & footers is unreliable in multi-section documents.
